Fantasia Getting Toned

Fantasia Barrino, the chanteuse who captured the 'American Idol' Season 3 title, is doing more than just press interviews in preparation for the release of her second album on Dec. 12. She's getting fit, too.

"Liquid food, that's what I'm on right now," she giggles to AOL Music. "And grilled chicken and salmon."

With her pipes already in top working order, as exemplified by new single 'Hood Boy,' featuring Big Boi, the 22-year-old singer is hoping to get her muscles into tour-ready shape to support the energetic stage personality that won her millions of fans.

"I've been working out with a trainer. He actually trains boxers," she reports. "I'm having fun with it. I'm toning my thighs. I want Tina Turner legs... I'm not trying to lose a lot of weight, just trying to tone up. Also, working out makes your lungs stronger." Not that weak lungs seem to be a major problem on 'Idol.'

Fantasia was on Hot 97 this morning in New York talking with Miss Jones and Dropping off her new single, Hood Boi. She disscussed her kiss with Jamie foxx, working with Coko on "Endow me", and moving on to Violator Management.
